TRE® consists of six simple exercises designed to evoke muscle tremoring that generally feels pleasant and soothing. Many people report feelings of peace and well-being after experiencing TRE®. As a self-administered healing modality, it is extremely easy to learn and appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness.

The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking / vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance.

One of the most appealing aspects of TRE® is that it allows you to discharge tension from the body without having to “revisit the story” (i.e., to talk about the source of stress or trauma). As such, it is a method popular among military personnel, even those suffering from PTSD.

In this 90-minute session, Liana Romulo will begin with a talk about stress and how it affects the body. Then she’ll guide you through the exercises and support you in your process.

Fee is “by donation.” Proceeds are for the children of Marawi, for buying books and school supplies.
