Monday night yoga classes led by Carla Lloren introduce beginners to a bit of breathwork and the flowing postures from the Ashtanga Vinyasa primary series.
A longtime yoga and meditation practitioner, Carla encourages students to explore their bodies through the breath and the internal forms of the practice. As part of this 75-minute class, she also leads a short guided meditation intended to cultivate one’s innate ability to get in touch with the Self. This class is ideal for beginning yoga practitioners who wish to try meditation and face the rest of the workweek calm, focused, and centered.
