Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat or large towel on which to lie down. We will not start until everyone has arrived, so please arrive on time, and don’t be late.
TRE® consists of six simple exercises that assist the body in restoring a deep sense of calm and inner peace. It is extremely easy to learn, and appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness.
TRE® is a somatic therapy that evokes the body’s natural neurogenic tremoring response to stress in order to restore balance into the system. Once learned, TRE® is self-administered and self-regulated.
For many, one of the most appealing aspects of TRE® is that it allows you to discharge tension from the body without having to “revisit the story” (i.e., talking about the source of stress or trauma). As such, it is a method popular among Iraq veterans and US military personnel, even those suffering from PTSD.
In this 90-minute session, Liana (assisted by Glenda Damias) will begin with a talk about stress and how it affects the body; then she’ll guide you through the exercises and support you in your process.
Fee is “by donation” to the Carlos P. Romulo Foundation for Peace and Development, which has undertaken a long-project to build a more climate-resilient Philippines.
