A wonderful team from Captain Cleaners did a “general cleaning” in the Peace Center this morning. (We just had a week’s worth of floor sanding, staining, and sealing–and things were pretty dusty in there.) Though the window shades are still out at the cleaners, everything’s had a thorough and deep cleaning. Even our balcony screens and meditation pillows have been vacuumed. It feels good!
Saucha–one of Patanjali’s niyamas–usually refers to the purity of your own body, but it can also mean keeping your environment simple and neat and therefore conducive to yoga practice (for those of you who think I obsess about clutter, cleanliness, and putting stuff away).
Anyway, stop in soon–and check out the new floor!
